These types of therapy are the application of a system of structured touch, pressure, movement, holding and treatment of the soft tissue of the human body in which the primary intent is to enhance the health and well-being of the client. This practice includes the external application of water, heat, cold, lubricants or other topical preparations, lymphatic techniques, myofascial release techniques and the use of electro-mechanical devices and tools which mimic or enhance the action of the bodywork. I do not diagnose illness, disease or disability or provide any medical procedure, chiropractic manipulation - adjustment or physical therapy mobilization.

Integrative Medical Consultation Treatment ~ this appointment is typically your first appointment at which time a medical history and assessment will be taken and a discussion as to what your needs and goals are will take place.  It is generally a longer session.  You will receive a treatment and at the end of the session, you will receive information about what was observed during your session in the way of tension and recommendations. ($100)

De~stress session  ~ Take time for peace and relaxation.  Slow down and take a deep breath with de-stressing pure therapeutic grade essential oils, coupled together with an upper body treatment on the face, scalp, neck and shoulders that will surely take your every stress away

Neuromuscular/Sports ~ is a deeper more vigorous treatment that can either address the whole body or give more attention to specific areas of need.  Using a greater range of techniques & tools designed to help your body feel freer and stronger with passive stretching and structural positional release, I will work into the deeper layers gradually with more detail to relieve chronic tension.  My base treatment for all of my sessions are longer and more detailed than most modalities.  I also include therapeutic grade oils with each session if you do so desire and it is included in my rate.  Routine therapeutic sessions are encouraged.

Structural Release Therapy (SRT) ~ is a non-invasive, advanced bodywork technique that stops involuntary muscle contraction, instantly increases range of motion, and dramatically decreases pain in the first treatment. SRT releases involuntary muscle contraction by reprogramming the jammed neurological signals of the muscles to and from the brain. SRT also incorporates the principles of Muscle Energy Technique and Myofacial Release. Structural Relief Therapy uses the gentle principle of holding the body in a position to shorten the contracted muscle. By holding this position, the involuntary muscle contraction stops and tissues soften. It is speculated that this happens because positioning the body in a pain free position reprograms the neurological signals of the muscles to and from the brain. Unlike traditional deep tissue and trigger point therapy, this technique is less invasive and focuses more on realignment of muscles through positioning and Myofacial Release. SRT Has been found to be over 90% effective on relieving symptoms of pain and discomfort. It is also effective in assisting with relief from chronic medical conditions including Fibromyalgia, Thoracic Outlet and Carpal Tunnel Syndromes, Sciatica, low back pain, and Shin Splints.

*Vacutherapy allows for more control and is non-invasive
Cupping therapies have become more popular in the past few years due to the Olympics and trending celebrities rocking cupping marks on their bodies.  Did you know that cupping therapies have been around for thousands of years?  Hippocrates (the founder of western medicine) advocated for both massage & cupping therapies.  All the way up until the 1930's doctors regularly had cupping sets to help with their patients pain.  So what happened?  New drugs such as penicillin came to the forefront and along with other advances in medicine, cupping went to the wayside.  However, cupping has continued to thrive in many parts of the world such as many cultures in Asia & Eastern Europe.  Now it's seeing a resurgence in North America.

For many years, cupping was primarily practiced by Traditional Chinese Medicine such as Acupuncturists.  In the past few decades, western bodyworkers started using cupping along with massage to enhance the treatments.  We call this combination of massage with cupping as MediCupping Therapy.  Instead of using the cups for unblocking the Chinese energy meridians, we look at it in a western philosophy of affecting the tissues, nervous system and keeping the cups active instead of the traditional static cup placement.

Vacutherapy is a form of cupping in which the "cup" is constantly moving across the skin of the client, lifting the soft tissue and fascia as opposed to pushing or pressing.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that unanticipated events happen on an occasion in everyone’s life.  It is my desire to be effective and fair to all of my clients.  I can only see a small number of clients each day.  Please be considerate of my time and try to follow the following policies:

I have a scheduling program that will confirm your appointment and remind you of your appointment by text and email.  Please provide me with at least a 24-48 hour advance notice when canceling an appointment.  This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.  If you are unable to give me advanced notice, you may be charged for the "full amount" of the scheduled session time.  This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

No show
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment, for whatever reason, will be considered a “no-show” and they will be charged for their “missed” appointment for the total amount of the session that was scheduled.  After 2 occurrences, I am sorry but I will no longer be able to schedule you.

Late arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointment follows yours.  Depending upon how late you arrive, I will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a session.  Regardless of the length of the treatment given, you will be responsible for the “full” session.  Out of respect and consideration for me and other clients, please feel free to call or text me to let me know you are running late.
